Daisy discovers Norman has an ego

The sun was baking hot the day Daisy discovered her brother Norman had an ego. She didn’t know until the very second when he pushed her over. Norman had never done anything like that before. He had always looked out for Daisy but on this occasion, when he’d just turned ten, he snapped. He didn’t do it because he was angry and it certainly wasn’t a playful push. He did it to prove to that he could do whatever he liked and he didn’t care about the consequences. It hurt too, Daisy landed on her elbow on the concrete and started wailing. She ran inside to tell her mother and asked her why Norman would do such an awful thing. Her mother answered that it had something to do with men and ego and that as they get older their egos get bigger and have to express themselves. Daisy didn’t understand a word of it. She was so upset she didn’t talk to Norman for a week.
